The polishing and restoration of Plexiglas transparencies are subject to a very strict process. In order to maintain the integrity of the transparency, you have to take various factors into account such as distortion and optical recovery, thickness of the transparency before and after polishing or restoration, and bird impact resistance and other structural issues.
Any repair will have an impact on the optical quality, our aim is to reduce this impact to a minimum. To do so, we use proprietary products, polishes and follow a rigorous process that we have developed over the years so that we can verify the distortion created according to ASTM Standards F 2156-01.
